The Eastern Women’s Football League  has officially announced its 2025 League 3 Team of the Year, and it was a proud moment for Stepaside FC, with four players earning a place among the league’s top performers.

The reveal comes ahead of the EWFL Presentation Night, which will take place on Friday, 28th November, at The Harbourmaster.

The event will celebrate the achievements of teams and players across the league following an exciting and competitive season.

Stepaside FC’s Honourees

The following Stepaside FC players were named in the Team of the Year:

 

-Erin Shell;  A pillar of consistency and reliability, Erin anchored the defensive line with composure and strength, ensuring stability at the back throughout the campaign.

- Aimee Halligan; Full of drive and determination, Aimee brought energy and attacking flair even from centre back, even adding creativity to the team’s forward play.

- Paula Ptak; A dependable engine of midfield, Paula’s tireless commitment and consistency saw her feature in every league and cup game.

- Mia Byrne ; A constant threat in front of goal, Mia finished as the team’s top scorer, delivering decisive contributions all season long.

 

Their inclusion highlights Stepaside FC’s strong performances this year and reflects the hard work and progress made across the squad.
