Another busy Sunday for Stepaside FC, with fantastic performances both at home and on the road 👏
🌟 U10 Girls had a great day in action:
• U10.6 Girls had a brilliant win against Mount Merrion, with Freya Webb grabbing a superb hat-trick.
• U10.7 Girls travelled to Howth and played some lovely football with a great team performance, the girls never gave up, and unfortunately the scoreline doesn’t reflect the 110% performance they gave on the pitch.
🔥 U13 Girls were in action in two formats today:
• The Major 11-a-side team battled hard for a 1–1 draw against Peamount .
• The Major 9-a-side team were in top form, putting five past Bohemians to secure all three points.
💪 U14 Girls had a tough cup draw at home against Premier Division side Peamount but showed great determination and more than held their own.
🎯 Our U8s made the trip to Leixlip to face Esker Celtic and delivered a fantastic team performance, with Oscar Kelly and Matthew Manahan both grabbing hat-tricks.
⚔️ The U13.8 Boys faced a strong Stella Maris side and battled hard throughout.
🚀 U11 Boys were on fire at home today, with both teams putting away seven goals each in two very impressive wins.
👏 The U11.2 Girls edged a tight contest, securing a great 2–1 win over Malahide.
🌧️ Our Youth Girls finished the day in dramatic fashion, battling the conditions and Rathcoole to secure a brilliant 6–5 victory and three valuable points.
🏁 And the U15 Boys closed out the action with a strong 3–0 win over Malahide United.
Great effort from all our players, coaches and supporters today on this Mothering Sunday — another brilliant day for Stepaside FC 💙🖤
We are looking forward to seeing all the blue and black at the parade on Tuesday in Stepaside ☘️
