Hello everyone,
We hope you're enjoying the final stretch of summer! Behind the scenes, your committee and coaches have been working hard to prepare for an exciting new season, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone back on the pitch very soon.
While some teams have already returned to training, please don’t worry if your child’s team hasn’t started yet. All teams will be back with plenty of time to prepare before matches begin. Here's a quick look at what's ahead:
📅 Match Start Dates
- U16–U18: Weekend of August 29th–31st
- U12–U15: Weekend of September 6th–7th
- Small-Sided Games (U8–U11): Weekend of September 13th–14th
- Academy (U5–U7): Returns Saturday, September 13th
🟢Exciting News from the Pitch
- A big congratulations to some of our 2013 girls, who are proudly representing the club as part of the Stepaside Community Games Team— having being crowned Leinster Champions in July they will head to the National Finals at the end of August!
- Several of our U12–U16 girls also took part in the Community Games Futsal events. We're thrilled to share that the U12 team competed in the Leinster Finals, and the U15 team also became Leinster Champions in June, made it to the National Finals in July and claimed silver medals! Well done to all players involved!
⚽ Senior Team Success
This summer saw the launch of our new Over-35s Men's Team and Senior Ladies Team, and both are already performing brilliantly in their competitive leagues. It’s fantastic to see our club community growing across all age groups! The Senior ladies will compete in the semi finals of the EWFL cup on Monday night in Fernhill.

📌 Important Registration Info
Coaches will soon be asking parents to register their child via the DDSL portal. In addition, you’ll receive an email regarding payment for the upcoming season.It’s essential that all registration is completed as soon as possible, as it includes insurance coverage in the event of injury. Without this, players may not be eligible to participate. Please keep an eye on your inbox so everything is in place ahead of kick-off.
